The Deadly Spawn (1983)

The Deadly Spawn is a independent horror film directed by Douglas McKeown. It was made with an estimated 25,000 dollar budget, but it doesn't lack in gore. It has an amazing face-rip scene and plenty of other gory parts. The acting is amateur, but that adds to it. And it's a horror movie, it isn't suppose to have oscar-winning acting. The movie is about an alien creature that crash lands on Earth via meteorite and takes residence in a middle-class family's basement. It starts to mutiply and take over the basement. It then starts eating the residents off one by one and it's up to 4 teenagers and a young boy to destroy the creature. Get a group of rad dudes together to watch this and prepare for a good time! You'll be in for a fun ride and some laughs. --Jake
